Dear Ms. Nusco, thank you so much for providing us with such a rare opportunity to see amazing artifacts. I was captivated in particular by the maps, where the Americas were not illustrated, because they hadn't been discovered. The books and manuscripts helped me understand the change in scientific paradigms through observing the physical representations of the ideas from those times.

Sincerely,

Thank you

Dear Ms. Nusco,

Thank you so much for showing us around the John Carter Brown Library.  It was really interesting to see the old manuscripts and it was great that you actually let us handle them with our bare hands!  I have never done something like this before and it was fascinating.  Thanks again for giving your time to show us the library.

Hi Ms. Nusco!

Thank you so much for taking time out of your hectic schedule to introduce us to the rare book collection at the John Carter Brown Library! I found all of the manuscripts that you showed us to be fascinating, and I thank you once again for sharing your passion for historical texts with us!

Thank you!

Dear Ms. Nusco,

Thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to take us through the library. I've never before been able to actually look through and touch rare books, and I thought it was awesome that our class was able to do so. Looking through the books helped to give me a different perspective on research and old, rare archives as well, so thank you again for this opportunity!

Sincerely,

Thank You

Dear Kimberly,

Thank you for taking your time to show us to the JCB, I never imagined that antique books and Americana literature could be this interesting! I sincerely appreciated the opportunity to look at ancient maps and appreciate the effort and dedication scientists put into publishing their recollections, for not only did they need to be philosophers and experts in their respective field of study, but also artists and expert painters. I look forward to returning to Brown someday and paying another visit to the John Carter Brown Library.

Best of luck!

Thank You

Dear Ms. Nusco,

I wanted to thank you for providing our class with a once in a life time experience to see rare pieces of literature. It was very different than looking at the first hand sources through a textbook or on the internet. Actually holding and trying to read these pieces was extremely interesting. Thank you for actually taking the time to fit in 27 people into that small space and speaking about something that you're passionate about. Your dedication is really inspiring to me. It rubbed off instantly. I hope that you continue to pursue your passion.

Sincerely,

P.S
Thank you for the small gifts.
This was such a great experience for me as a student who is greatly interested in ancient art and books. I thought it was very interesting looking at very old manuscripts and they they way they perceived the world at the time.

Thank You,
