I was captivated in particular by the maps, where the Americas were not illustrated, because they hadn't been discovered. The books and manuscripts helped me understand the change in scientific paradigms through observing the physical representations of the ideas from those times.

I wanted to thank you for providing our class with a once in a life time experience to see rare pieces of literature. It was very different than looking at the first hand sources through a textbook or on the internet. Actually holding and trying to read these pieces was extremely interesting.
